Andrej Wolff studied fine arts in Berlin and has his studio on the Berlin RAW site.
He previously had his studio in alternative Berlin art locations such as the Kunsthaus Tacheles in Berlin Mitte for several years.
Thematically, the artist mostly focuses on the city of Berlin in his works. No other city in the world inspires him with its history, sights, contrasts, colors and of course the colorful city life. The artist's stylistic palette is therefore as diverse as the city of Berlin. Since no picture in the world is able to depict the diversity of this city, sooner or later it was to become a hidden object picture.
The idea for this design originally came from a street art project - a large mural in Berlin Neukölln. Colorful Berlin motifs invite you to an imaginary journey through the capital.
The artist Andrej Wolff, plays with complex shapes and colors, which act like a kaleidoscope and represents Berlin as a mosaic of stones and crystals. Andrej has been inspired by Picasso and the Berlin artist Lyoner Feininger. In this design he stylized the shapes of Berlin landmarks, in a cubist manner and mixed the different backgrounds in several layers.
The special thing in this Buddy Bear is that the artist has accentuated the geometry very much, so that the bear looks more modern and corresponds to the aesthetics of our computer age.

'Berlin Blue' is a tribute to Berlin's rich color history and cultural significance. Its vibrant, deep blue reflects the famous Berlin Blue, a lightfast and inorganic pigment discovered around 1706 by Johann Jacob Diesbach, a paint manufacturer from Berlin. This pigment, quickly adopted by painters at the Prussian court, in Rotterdam and Paris, including prominent artists such as the Impressionists Monet and the Expressionists Munch, represents an era of artistic revolution.'Berlin Blue' celebrates the splendor of Berlin's landmarks from the Neoclassical period and captures the essence of this historic period in an emblematic blue. Each of these bears is not only a decorative element, but also a piece of living history that honors Berlin's distinctive beauty and cultural heritage.
