Otto Schade, born in Chile and living in England, studied architecture, worked as an urban sculptor and began early to paint in different styles on canvas. He was particularly inspired by the great surrealist painters of the past. From 2005 he quickly found access to the local street art scene in London and has since participated in many international art festivals. His works can be found in many European and non-European cities, in the USA, South America, Africa and Asia and belong to the current abstract, surrealist and also urban art movements. Schade paints mainly in oil, but also uses other techniques such as collage, illustration or stencil.
